Young Birders Club
Orange Audubon Society hosts field trips for birders 8-17 or young people interested in becoming birders. We have a few Junior Young Birder trips for ages 6-17 These trips are free and are designed to allow children and teens time to explore the exciting world of birding at a more relaxed pace. - Sat. Feb. 6, 2027 – Young Birders Merritt Island – Part 1 -Focus on Waterfowl and Winter Passerines, Titusville, 7:30am
- Sat. Feb. 6, 2027 – Junior Young Birders “Owl Prowl” at the Centers for Birds of Prey, Maitland, 6:30PM to 8:00PM (note: evening)
- Sun. March 7, 2027 – Jr. Young Birders Joint Field Trip with Lyonia Preserve, Deltona, 8:00am to 10:00am
- Sat. April 17, 2027 – Young Birders Merritt Island – Part 2- Focus on Migrating Passerines and Shorebirds, Titusville, 7:30am to 11:00am
